Kristin Baisden

Columbus Calligrapher & Engraver

Hi, I’m Kristin—a coffee-loving, extroverted creative with a passion for writing, drawing, painting, and making lists (lots of lists!).

My faith in Jesus is at the heart of everything I do, and I believe we’re meant to walk through life together. Community and connection mean everything to me—whether it’s through deep conversations, shared creativity, or simply doing life side by side. I’m always inspired by the people around me and know that the best work comes from collaboration and genuine relationships.

As an artist, my goal is to get to know you—your style, your personality, and the little details that make you you—so that every piece I create feels like a reflection of you. And who knows? We just might become best friends along the way!

A Little About Lovely Arrows…

Over nine years ago, I started playing around with hand lettering. I’ve always loved changing up my handwriting, so this became a fun, creative way to bring letters to life. When I launched Lovely Arrows Designs in 2016, I had no clear vision for where it would go—I just knew I wanted to create with beautiful lettering.

I found my niche in the wedding industry, designing event signs and day-of details while experimenting with different styles and materials. In 2020, with a little extra time, I branched out into the corporate world, painting windows and murals. By the time wedding season picked up again, I was busier than ever.

What started as a creative outlet and side hustle became a full-time artistic career in late 2021, followed by the addition of calligraphy classes. Now, I work as a corporate artist, wedding sign designer, and instructor.

When I’m not slinging paint or teaching, you’ll find me leading worship at my church, spending time with my husband and kids, binging a random show (Brooklyn 99, New Girl, and The Office are my go-tos), or doing important research—AKA hunting down the best avocado toast in Columbus.

I love my clients
